Training Accountancy People To Do Accountancy Roles

About Us

jvg

Jenny and Victor Gidney launched Anglia Accountancy Training in 1996 in the then boardroom of Peterborough United Football Club. Over the next twenty years they established themselves as the leading training provider in Accountancy in the Anglia region. The company went from strength to strength growing and increasing their student numbers.

In 2015 they decided to leave their business and sold it to the local college. After two years of retirement they have decided to return to what they both know and love best......TEACHING!

For those in the area who know them and the people they have trained over the years, they know that their USP is that they put learners first. If they didn’t believe that the course was the correct one for you, they would inform you and save you from spending money on something that wasn’t right for you!
Victor has many teaching qualifications and is very committed to getting learners on the right path in their learning process for Accountancy. Victor has also taught at many universities and colleges in his lifetime of teaching Accounting.

They are both very committed and have a solid employer base that has been growing over the years. They are continually getting phone calls from employers and employees asking for their help.

So here they are back in business and ready for you all to learn with them.

I am a student with the AAT and am currently working in an accounting role in Wisbech. I joined the course as part of my apprenticeships and found it to be very supportive in every aspect. The teachers were always very helpful and made the class interesting and enjoyable. The flexible structure of the course was refreshing and made the course more relaxed as it reduced the pressure and made the learning aspect easier. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in accounting as it has provided me with the knowledge that I needed for the accounting role that I am in.

I am a mature student with three children. I'm enjoying my time at Anglia Accountancy Training. I have found everyone really helpful. They have answered any questions and queries I have had.  My fellow students are all friendly and are always willing to help when necessary. I would definitely recommend this training provider.

I feel that AAT has been very successful for me this year, mainly due to the tutors who have taught me throughout the course.  They have provided a large amount of support and direction that has enabled me to complete my Level 2.  I would not have any issue with continuing on to Levels 3 and 4, and would like to thank Victor and his colleagues for the help they have given me

I was initially nervous about starting my accountancy studies, having been out of education for so long, but AAT offers an enjoyable and flexible approach to learning. The tutors tailor the lessons and exam dates to meet the needs of their pupils. You are treated as individuals and not just as class. This approach has proven successful in the pass rate for my class.

AAT for me, this year, has been extremely successful and not just because of the course structure but because of the tutors who teach the course. Having feeling comfortable with the learning types they provide and also for them providing extensive knowledge and guidance for me to complete my Level 2 I have no qualms in continuing with levels 3 and 4. I would like to thank Victor and his colleagues for the support they have given me this year

Last year whilst unemployed and attending Jobsmart,  I was given the opportunity to attend Anglia Accountancy Training College and take the AAT Access course which I passed. I applied for a job. I got the job! My studying AAT helped with my application also my employer Karen  is an ex-student of  Victor who is now my tutor.
Working in Accounts and studying AAT has broaden my knowledge and its helping me to progress in my job role, plus increasing my knowledge of accounting practices.
